River Connection Workshop

November 19, 2022 @ 2:00 pm - 4:00 pm

Bartram’s Garden Community Boathouse
5400 Lindbergh Blvd.
Philadelphia, PA 19143 United States

Led by Chandrika Francis of Oshun Swim School. Bartram’s Garden is partnering with Oshun Swim School this fall to offer a series of workshops related to swimming and water, for Southwest Philadelphia residents.

This free workshop is for community members of all ages in Southwest Philly.

This workshop is an invitation to know water more intimately and to find a deeper sense of connection and peace near the Schuylkill River. We will focus on developing our relationship with water through mindfulness, meditation, and self-inquiry. Through a culturally relevant lens and by centering community building, we will explore what it means to belong to our river and to our communities. Come join us for some rest, play, and grounding by the river!

Rain location: Bartram’s Garden Conference Room
