SWWAG Workshop: Getting your Garden Ready: Preparing the Soil and Planting for your Season

Time to get planting! Come on down to Sankofa Community Farm and learn the basics of planting your spring garden. We will also cover springtime maintenance including best practices in natural agriculture and pest management.

Skill level: Beginner
Workshop leaders: Farm Co-Director Ty Holmberg and Youth Legacy Crew

Priority for workshop enrollment is given to neighbors living in Mill Creek, Haddington, & Southwest Philadelphia. Workshop registration is limited to 10-15. Light refreshments will be served. Children & youth are welcome, but childcare is not provided. Masks & social-distancing are requested for in-person workshops.
