cut okra with seeds

September 15, 2021 @ 4:15 pm - 5:30 pm

Sankofa Community Farm at Bartram’s Garden

Join us for a hands-on workshop and conversation about seed keeping throughout history as we engage the tools of ancestry, story weaving, plant science, and spiritual connection to define seed keeping for our lives and times. We will offer techniques for seed keeping, preparation, and storage while digging into our personal and collective narrative around the crops that feed us.

Led by Owen Taylor (Truelove Seeds) and Chris Bolden-Newsome

Level: BEGINNER

Registration is required (FREE).

This workshop is offered by the Southwest/West Agriculture Network (SWWAG). Priority for workshop enrollment is given to neighbors living in Mill Creek, Haddington, & Southwest Philadelphia.
