ABOUT JULIUS MASRI:
Julius Masri is a Philadelphia-based musician and composer who plays Jazz, Experimental Noise, Metal, Arabic music, and much more. Born in Tripoli, Lebanon, he moved to the states at the age of 12 and began studying drums as well as any instrument that piqued his curiosity. His current projects include the Grind-metal two-piece Night Raids, Jazz trio Dromedaries (new album coming soon), Trombone and Circuit Bent electronics duo Superlith (also new album coming soon), and the “everything and the Arabic kitchen-sink” solo project Mephisto Halabi (album available on German label Unrock).
