Bartram’s Mile Tour with Joel (CANCELED)

Join curator Joel Fry for a bicycle ride along the Bartram’s Mile Trail, north and south of Bartram’s Garden. Learn about the Bartram family farms and later industrialization of the Lower Schuylkill. The group will meet in the parking area at Bartram’s Garden, and bicycles will be available for use.

We will ride along the trail on the west bank of the Schuylkill, north to Grays Ferry, and then return through the garden to 56^th Street and south along the newly opened South Mile Trail section. This is mostly a level, even ride along a paved trail, two small hills, one north, and one south.
