United Nations World Ocean Day

The Caribbean Community of Philadelphia (CCP) will commemorate the 5th annual UN World Oceans Day by engaging in environmental education and visual storyboarding with visitors and community members.

Recognized on June 8th globally, World Ocean Day’s theme of 2022 is “Revitalization: Collective Action for the Ocean”. This fun, family-friendly event will feature exhibits on river and ocean action, the Caribbean Sea ecosystem, the importance of the Blue/Green Economy,  crafty boats, upcycled fish, and more.
