Community Garden

Growing sovereignty together.

The Sankofa Community Farm at Bartram’s Garden hosts a thriving community garden. These garden beds are planned and maintained by local residents from our Southwest Philadelphia neighborhood with support from Sankofa staff, youth interns, and partners.

Interested in becoming part of the community garden? A limited number of low-cost garden beds are available seasonally, with priority for Southwest Philadelphia residents who live near Bartram’s Garden and who share the farm’s focus on African Diaspora culture and foodways. Sign up below to be notified when beds are available.
